Hamburg printmaker with a highly interesting biography. Most of her prints betray  her love and fascination for her native Hamburg and river Elbe but she obviously also visited Munich. In march 2023 a dozen prints by her showed up in an auction. The wonderful farmhouse build above tidal river Elbe was one of them. 

This collection is aiming at representing prints by pioneering German women printmakers in the broader sense,  “to want to have them all” would also be completely unaffordable. With every print appearing in the auctions choices (taste, quality, rarity, price) must be made considering which prints are eligible for trying to acquire to represent the artist the best possible way..
