Artist not represented in this collection. His rare monotype (and very low edition) prints closely resemble colour wood- or linoleum block prints and were created more or less the same in several printing cycles adding lines and/or colour blocks and printed on Japanese paper. Most of his art was seized and destroyed by the Nazis as degenerate (“entartet”).       

Living the illusion perhaps to own one of his prints, is to find one. To find one one has to be aware of its existence. Learning and becoming wiser with every “new” found picture (and artist) it will be, hopefully, just a matter of time before one does.
